The corner benefited from a substantial private investment by the owner of the gas station, resulting in the demolition of the old building, acquiring a vacant neighboring property and building an attractive new brick store with sheltered gas pumps, expanded food service and retail spaces. Amy facilitated discussion, compromise, and ultimately a solution agreed to between the business owner and the community on important regulatory and permitting details.
