Three acres of vacant land were secured by the local CDC over 10 years ago in front of the Willow Reserve, fronting Maryland Ave at Western.  The housing market crash put the breaks on the project and the land has been used for urban agriculture or left vacant ever since. Amy helped convene a Community Steering Committee to generate guidance for a request for proposals to re-start the project, and secured an on-going role in shaping the development to benefit its future residents and the broader community.  A potential developer has since been identified with plans to construct a low density, owner-occupied housing development to open in 2016.
